Eric’s instruments deeply inspire! Ok – I’ve been trying to reach a particular dronetone for years. I tried bending, various homemade oscillators, synths… sh#t, I was always falling short of my vision. I decided to take a break from my Art to re-assess my sound. this resulted in a bout of f’d up depression. What I mean is I couldn’t reach the inspiration, the instinctual drive to push on.
I stumbled upon the Grendel Drone Commander on youtube.
Man – it blew my mid, the sound was so soothing… Magical.
I reached out, contacted Eric, and ordered a Drone Commander.

Thanks Eric… My Art has returned!

I found this via a google search. I like very much the point you’re making. I didn’t grow up with the understanding that art was something that belonged to everyone, that each and every person can create and claim the title of artist – we just need to be open, to listen, and to give form to what we hear. But I had an epiphany, thankfully, that revealed this possibility to me. It’s a beautiful thing to recognize oneself and all others as artists or potential artists.
